Summer School will return in 2026.

2 Courses, each providing a similar programme.

Both courses are designed for children aged 11 to 16 with a minimum standard of Grade 5 (ABRSM or equivalent) on any of the following instruments:

• Violin, viola, cello, double bass
• Harp
• Classical guitar
• Piano

Students studying composition may also apply.

Schedule:

Course 1: July 20th to July 25th

Tuition for violin, viola, cello, harp, piano and composition.

Course 2: July 27 to August 1st

Tuition for violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, piano and composition.

• Instrumental lessons
• Concerts (both for participants and given by YMS staff)
• Chamber music
• Orchestra
• Choir
• Academic music seminars
• Workshops on wellbeing and exam preparation
• Introduction to conducting

Course Fees: Fees are per person, inclusive of VAT.

Residential: £1450
