The institutions “Slovenski center za glasbeno vzgojo – Centro sloveno di educazione musicale Emil Komel” and “Kulturni center Lojze Bratuž” are hosting the “MUSICA GORITIENSIS” International Competition for young musicians up to the age of 30 and of all nationalities. The aim of the competition is to promote musical culture and encourage young people to study music and get to know each other.
2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia, European capital of culture 2025, are hosting the 4th International Competition “MUSICA GORITIENSIS” for young violinists, cellists, pianists and singers of all nationalities.

CATEGORY “A” – 1st prize overall € 120,00
CATEGORY “B” – 1st prize overall € 140,00
CATEGORY “C” – 1st prize overall € 170,00
CATEGORY “D” – 1st prize overall € 350,00
CATEGORY “E” – 1st prize overall € 700,00 and a concert prize in the season of one of the cultural institutions of our country.
Winners of the CATEGORY E who are singled out by the jury will have the opportunity to perform with the orchestra in the calendar of events of the European Capital of Culture Go! 2025.
