Part of the Fontana outreach program, the Kalamazoo Chamber Music Workshop was founded in 1973 by Janet Bogart and Rosamond Robbert.
The workshop is designed for students ages 12–15 whose instruments are brass, string, woodwind, piano or percussion.
Daily activities include chamber ensemble rehearsal, theory, composition, and music history classes, as well as a full orchestra rehearsal.
Most importantly, students learn life lessons through chamber music instruction.
