The IV Teresa Carreño International Piano Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities between the ages of 18 and 33 by the time of the competition.

Foreign contestants are responsible for obtaining their own passports and B-1 visas. Contestants are advised to contact an American consulate immediately upon acceptance into the Competition.

Schedule: 4Rounds

Video Pre-Selection (submitted online)

Preliminary: May 18th, May 19th, 2026 (24 pianists)

Semifinal: May 20th, May 21st (6 pianists)

Final performance with orchestra: May 23rd, 2026 (3 pianists)

Application Fee: $125 (we will announce if there will be changes)

1st Prize: Cash award of USD $7,000; Deluxe Cruise to the Caribbean; Two years of free Management Services

2nd Prize: Cash award of USD $4,000; Deluxe Cruise to the Caribbean

3rd Prize: Cash award of USD $2,000; Deluxe Cruise to the Caribbean

4th, 5th, 6th Prizes: Diploma
