We are absolutely thrilled to be back in the breathtaking city of Tbilisi, Georgia, for what promises to be an unforgettable musical experience from July 20th to July 28th, 2024.
The International Piano Masters (IPM) has established itself as a beacon of excellence in the world of classical music, and our journey continues with the introduction of the IPM Tbilisi Festival. Building upon the resounding success of our inaugural festival in Vienna in 2023, we are embarking on a new chapter filled with excitement, talent, and passion.
At IPM Tbilisi, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of musical prodigies while celebrating the virtuosity of established pianists from around the globe. Our festival offers a comprehensive program that includes:
- Solo International Piano Competition: A platform for pianists of all ages to showcase their mastery and artistry in solo performances, divided into three age categories to ensure fair competition and recognition of talent at every level.
- Concerto International Piano Competition: An opportunity for pianists to demonstrate their collaborative skills and interpretative brilliance as they perform alongside the Giya Kancheli Tbilisi Youth Orchestra in one of the city’s most esteemed music venues.
- Master Classes, Lectures, and Discussions: Engage with our distinguished piano faculty, comprised of world-renowned musicians, through a series of master classes, lectures, and discussions designed to inspire, educate, and elevate your musical journey.
- Performance Opportunities: From Promising Star Concerts to collaborative performances with fellow musicians, participants at IPM Tbilisi will have ample opportunities to showcase their talents and connect with audiences in the vibrant cultural landscape of Tbilisi.
Our venue, the illustrious Tbilisi State Conservatoire, provides the perfect backdrop for a week filled with music, learning, and camaraderie. Nestled in the heart of Tbilisi, this historic institution embodies the rich cultural heritage of Georgia and serves as a beacon of artistic excellence.
