The Gregynog Young Musician Competition was founded in 2005 and has become a prestigious annual event.
Entrants must be aged 18 or under and have reached Grade 8 or equivalent on any orchestral, brass band or percussion instrument.
Applicants must live or study in the UK, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
Instruments:
Any orchestral instrument including piano, harp, classical guitar, recorder, saxophone, brass band instrument, or percussion

For the overall winner awarded the title “Young Musician of the Year”: £3,000.00
Five semi-finalist winners will receive: £500.00
