The Competition acts as an international launching platform for future outstanding musicians, as well as for promoting George Enescu’s work among the new generation of artists worldwide.
The 20th edition will host all four sections in Bucharest, with the semifinals and finals taking place in the wonderful hall of the Romanian Athenaeum.
Stages I and II of each section will take place at the National University of Music Bucharest.

1st Round: September 10th to September 12th (max 50 participants)
2nd Round: September 14th to September 15th (max 12 participants)
Semi-Final Round: September 17th (max 6 participants)
Final Round: September 19th (3 participants)

1st Prize: €15,000 net
2nd Prize: €10,000 net
3rd Prize: €5,000 net
Additional Section-Specific Piano Prizes:
Radu Lupu Prize for best Enescu work: €3,000 net
Best performance of imposed work: €2,000 net
Audience Prize: €1,000 net
