BIMC welcomes talent teenagers and musicians of all nationalities from the age of 5 up to 35 as of the date of March 15th, 2026
Starting in 2026, the BIMC Finals will be held in conjunction with the Boston International Music Festival, an eight-day program featuring:
• BIMC Premier final competition and the winners’ concert
• Three days of multi-specialty immersive masterclasses
• Open campus visits to top conservatories (Berklee, NEC…) and Ivy League universities (Harvard, MIT…)
• Face-to-face conversations with admissions officers
• A music carnival and gala featuring outstanding BIMC contestant concert, jury member and guest artist concert

2nd Round: Semi-Final/ ONLINE/ Results: May 18th, 2026
3rd Round: Final/ IN-PERSON/ July 7th, 2026 at Cary Hall, Lexington MA
Awards Ceremony and Winners’ Concert: July 12th, 2026 at Cary Hall, Lexington MA
