The 9th Melbourne Pacific Piano Open Competition invites young pianists from around the globe to compete online — and win the chance to perform live in Melbourne with the Melbourne Arts Orchestra conducted by Robert Dora.

All contestants are welcome to attend the Melbourne Pacific Piano Festival in Melbourne, a celebration of piano music with workshops, masterclasses, performances and orchestra rehearsal viewing.

• Gala Concert ( August 9, 2026 )

Age Categories (up to 25 years):

Junior Class: Age 14 years and below

Senior Class: Age 18 years and below

Tertiary Class: Age up to 25 year old – current music student at a University or Conservatoire

Entry Fees: Entry Fee for Junior, Senior and Tertiary classes is AUD $380*
