T𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 introduces important new features designed to place artistic identity, live performance and international visibility at the center from the very first stage of the selection process.
2026: Partnership with the brand new Cape Town International Piano Competition.
Within this partnership, all pianists registered for the Busoni Competition who wish to participate in the Cape Town competition will benefit from a discounted participation fee.
Application and participation fees:
Application fee: € 40.00 per candidate, to be paid when submitting the online application form
Participation fee: € 130.00 Candidates admitted to the Glocal Piano Festival

TOP 12 – solo piano performance: August 28th to August 29th, 2027
TOP 6 – chamber music performance: August 31st to September 2nd, 2027
TOP 3 – Grand Finale: September 5th, 2027
