The 52nd Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition – Aloise Vecchiato Prize – Finale Ligure (Italy) – Donzdorf (Germany) is open to competitors of all nationalities, with a maximum age limit of 36 years.

CONCERT of the Non-Finalists (9 candidates) and Proclamation of the 4th – 5th – 6th Prizes: Septembre 1st, 2026 in Piazza Libeccio in Varigotti (SV)
Final Stage (3 candidates): September 2nd, 2026, S. Caterina Auditorium in Finalborgo
CONCERT of the Finalists and Proclamation of the 1st – 2nd – 3rd Prizes
Septembre 2nd, 2026 in Chiostri di S.Caterina Finalborgo
September 3rd, 2026: transfer for the 3 finalists to Donzdorf (train at the expense of the organization)
September 4th, 2026: rehearsal of the Mozart or Beethoven or Chopin concert with the Quartet
September 5th, 2026: rehearsal of the Mozart or Beethoven or Chopin concert with the Quartet

September 5th, 2026 Donzdorf Prize (3 finalists)

Prizes:

1st Prize: €4500, The Golden Palm (The Golden Palm, art work of fine craftsmanship) and 2 recitals (Sacile Fazioli Hall – Finale Ligure in 2027)

2nd Prize: €2000

3rd Prize: €1000

4th – 5th – 6th Prize: diploma and silver medal

Special Prize: the best performance of ALOISE VECCHIATO’s pieces: €500

Special Prize PAOLA BRUNI: the most surprising execution of a piece in the program: €200

DONZDORF Prize: €5000(indivisible), will be attributed to one of the three prizewinners

DONZDORF AUDIENCE Prize: a recital in Donzdorf in the 2026 season: €800 is provided together with €400 for travel expenses and hotel
