3rd edition of Kreutzer International Music Competition, Belgium

The 3rd edition of Kreutzer International Music Competition will take place from 4th to 8th of August 2026 in Miry concert hall and Ghent Royal Conservatory, it is open to young violinists and chamber music groups from all around the world.

Violin / 3 Age Categories

Chamber Music: chamber music groups consist of strings only or strings with piano/ no age limits

Violin: 3Rounds

Chamber Music: 2 Rounds

April 15th, 2026 – Announcement of the candidates selected for the second round.

August 4th to August 8th, 2026 – Second and  final rounds.

August 8th, 2026 – Prize giving ceremony and Gala Concert of prize winners.

Participation Fees:

Violin

Category A – 100 euros

Category B – 120 euros

Category C – 130 euros

Category B – 90 euros per member of the group

• 1st prize – bow in the value of 800 euros 

• 2nd prize – violin case value of 500 euros

• 3rd prize – strings in the value of 300 euros

Category B

• 1st prize – 1000 euros 

• 2nd prize – 700 euros

• 3rd prize – 400 euros

• 1st prize – 1500 euros 

• 2nd prize – 1000 euros

• 3rd prize – 600 euros
