At Hvide Sande Masterclass September 10-20, 2026, there is a unique opportunity to experience and immerse yourself in classical music through 15 public concerts and events and daily masterclass lessons.

Musicians participating in Hvide Sande Masterclass are carefully selected through an application process where the masterclass professors select the most promising classical talents, both nationally and internationally.

The focus of the masterclass is on chamber music ensemble playing, but also on solo performances.

At Hvide Sande Masterclass there are only 28 exclusive places for violinists, violists, cellists, 1 bassist, pianists and ensembles.

You can apply as a soloist and/or as a chamber music ensemble.

Courses:

• solo lessons
• participate in chamber music ensembles with the young musicians
• coach established groups during masterclass sessions
• perform at the concerts

Content:

Daily solo and/or chamber music lessons.
– Solo participants also participate in a side-by-side chamber music group.
– Accompaniment lessons.
– Private room in luxury summer house by the fjord.
– 3 daily meals and refreshments in the form of cake, coffee and fruit.
– Opportunity to play at several of the concerts.
– Professional recordings and photos of some of the concerts.
– Beautiful nature experiences and a bicycle provided.
– String players will receive a set of strings from Larsen Strings.
– A violin maker will be on hand to help with small repairs, instrument lending and guidance.
– Arrival September 12. Departure September 19.
