The 1st Edition of the “PAOLO SPAGNOLO” International Piano Concerto Competition promises to be a new and prestigious event on the international music scene, dedicated to showcasing pianistic talent.

The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities and without age restrictions.

Schedule: 3Rounds

1st Round: Pre-Selection ( Video submited)/ Results: April 30th, 2026
Semifinal Round (maximum 16 semi-finalist candidates): performance of the first movement of a concerto for piano and orchestra (which will be performed with the accompaniment of the second piano provided by the competition

Finale (maximum 8 finalist candidates): Live performance with orchestra

Registration Fee: €120

1st Prize “Paolo Spagnolo”: €2500
2nd Prize “José Àngel Lepore”: €1500
3rd Prize “Leopold Godowsky III”: €1000
