The competition represents a global musical challenge open to talents from every corner of the world. Its primary objective is to stimulate the love for music among young people, as well as to identify and promote emerging artistic talent.

For piano, strings, winds, guitar and plucked string instruments, harp, chamber music, composition, and opera singing.
