SIMC is a yearly event for children and adults who are passionate about classical music.

During and after the competition, you can get feedback and recommendations from the jury members.

SIMC also organizes master classes which you can take if interested.

Piano Categories:

• Piano solo
• Piano as additional instrument
• Ensemble (each subcategory is assessed separately):
  — Classical duo, trio, quartet, quintet
  — Piano duo
  Accompaniment (For the category “Accompaniment” age is not limited)

2 Rounds:

1st Round// winners: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize/ Only 1st Prizes participate in the 2nd Round

2 Round// winner of the Grand Prix/

Special prizes:

Scholarship for participation at the festival Music October Best 2025, Holland (including travel costs and residence).

First Prize Winners from age solo groups E, F and ensemble groups 3, 4 — share cash Awards total of SEK 50 000.

Special prizes for the best performance of a work by a Swedish composers will be awarded as well.
