The International Mozart Competition is one of the most prestigious music competitions worldwide and has been held biennially for over 50 years. With a distinctive festival character in the unique atmosphere of Salzburg, it traditionally features the categories of Voice, Piano, Violin, and String Quartet.

Piano: February 13th to February 19th

Violin: February 6th to February 12th

Schedule: 

• 1st Round: February14th & Sunday 15th
• 2nd Round: February 16th & Tuesday 17th February
• Rehearsals: February 18th / (for finalists) with the Academy Orchestra of the Mozarteum University
• Final Concert: February 19th/  with the Academy Orchestra of the Mozarteum University
