The American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition is open to school students and adults of all nationalities and countries. Participants are required to submit video recording materials for the audition.
All instruments, including piano, strings, voice and winds are welcome to participate in the Competition.
There is no age limit for the adult participants.

Young Musicians, 5 – 10
Junior, 11 – 14
Intermediate, 15 – 18
Adults (18 and older):
Amateur without professional degree
College Students and Professional Musicians
Application Fee:
Solo performers: $200 for one audition piece/ Second audition piece: additional $50 fee
Duo and Trio: $150 per Ensemble Member
Prizes:
Winners will be offered to receive a Winner’s Package by mail or to perform at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in March – June 2026 on the dates to be announced.
