The 2025/2026 National Concerto Competition is open to all instrumentalists aged 25 years and under.

Competitors will be either New Zealand Citizens, persons having resindent in New Zealand for over one year or overseas students studying in New Zealand for the 2025 current academic year.

Entry Fee: $200

Prizes:

1st Prize: $10,000.00

2nd Prize: $5,000.00

3rd Prize: $2,500.00

3 unplaced semi-finalists: $700.00

The most promising performer not selected for the semi-final: $400.00

Schedule:

Stage one: Rehearsal (half-hour)/ December 2nd 2025

Stage Two: Semi-final session (6 performers)/ December 4th 2025

Stage Three: Final/ March 7th 2026
