The VIVO International Music Competition offers an extraordinary opportunity for gifted young musicians to develop and advance their talents through participating in competition and performing on a world-class stage. Located in the New York City area, the VIVO invites local, national, and international students with musical talents to experience and accomplish musical excellence.
VIVO International Music Competition is open to instrumentalists of all nationalities under the age of 18.
Schedule:
April 12th, 2026: Live Audition, PianoPiano Rehearsal Studios
Prizes: Merkin Concert Hall in New York City
1st Prize Winners’ Concert: (Final round of Live Audition)
April 26th, 2026: 1pm (Group A & B)
April 26th, 2026: 5:30pm (Group C & D)
1st & 2nd Prize Winners’ Concert:
May 3rd, 2026: 2pm (All Age Group)
Concert fee: winners who choose to perform
Solo: $360
Duo: $180/person
Trio, Quartet, Quintet: $120/ person
My student is interested in taking this competition.
But I have a question about these dates.
What is the difference of two dates 4/25 and 5/3?
Is 4/25 for higher prizes ?
Also we don’t know if she would be chosen, but if she got chosen, she wouldn’t be available 4/25 but she would like be chosen on 5/3.
Would you recommend her to take this competition?
