The music school “Kosta Manojlović” from Zemun has been a leader in Serbia for a long time, in terms of success in all fields of children’s music education. Statistics show that a few years ago, it took precedence in all competitions in the country in terms of student achievement.
At the end of 2016, a high-quality semi-concert Yamaha S6 piano was purchased for the ceremonial hall, which gave birth to the idea of establishing a piano competition under the auspices and organization of this school for the first time in almost 80 years of history.
A group of enthusiasts worked out this idea very carefully, from the selection of domestic and international associates, through thoroughly designed propositions and regulations, to quality awards for the winners of the competition.
