Weatherford College is proud to host the 5th Annual Weatherford College International Piano Competition for young pianists. The top three winners will receive cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and masterclasses with judges. The first place winner will be offered the opportunity to perform a solo recital at WC during the 2023-2024 academic year.
The preliminary round will be an online format. All performances will be judged from the submitted videos. The twelve selected finalists will perform live before judges in the Weatherford College Marjorie Alkek Performing Arts Center, Weatherford, Texas on April 22, 2023. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2023.
The Weatherford College International Piano Competition welcomes pianists of all nationalities. Applicants must be between ages 17-35 by the application deadline, March 1, 2023.
