The main purpose of the competition, besides the prizes, is the educational value.
Culture Meeting Point Vienna (CMP Vienna), in cooperation with the Academy of Classical Music Vienna and Music School “Wiener Klassik”, will organize the Paul Badura-Skoda International Piano Competition dedicated to the great piano virtuoso and soloist (1927-2019). Taking place online gives the young participants a particularly large public, as the videos of all finalists are documented on our website and the award winners are announced on our social media platforms. The juries are composed of lecturers from the International Music Academy and renowned guests.
