American pianist Hans Boepple debuted with the Los Angeles, Philharmonic Orchestra at age 10 and continues to be the featured soloist with orchestras of distinction. Concerto performances include critically acclaimed collaborations with the LA Philharmonic, Denver Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony, Metropolitan Opera House Orchestra, Santa Rosa Symphony, Oakland, Napa, and Santa Cruz Symphonies. He has collaborated with eminent conductors that include Zubin Mehta, Johnny Green, Minas Christian, Dennis de Coteau, and Corrick Brown. A student of renowned American pianist Sidney Foster, Boepple holds both a Bachelor & Master of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University as well as an honorary Performer’s Certificate. A former fulltime member of the piano faculty at IU, he has been Professor of Music at Santa Clara University since 1978. Boepple balances his demanding performance activities with those of a dedicated and successful teacher. His students have earned over 200 state, national, and international awards.
