DESCRIPTION:Prague, Czech Republic\nDeadline: July 15th, 2026\nExperience the unique atmosphere of Prague and the 4th edition of our Lied Academy. Lessons will be held at the prestigious HAMU – Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Music and Dance Faculty), with concerts taking place in the stunning Baroque Refectory of Professed House.\nThe Lied Academy warmly welcomes participants of all nationalities who are at least 18 years of age.\nThe course is designed for a maximum 16 participants (8 pianists and 8 singers) and maximum 12 auditors.\nDuos (singers and pianists), and also welcomes applications from solo pianists and singers who are in search of a performing partner during the course of the Academy.\nThe special prize that will be awarded following the Final Concert of Participants:\n\nGustav Mahler Festival Prize – with performance at Mahler Jihlava 2027 Concert Prize\n\n*Eligibility for “Gustav Mahler Festival Prize”: participants must include at least one piece by Gustav Mahler in their programme\nTuition Fees:\nEarly bird (June 1st, 2026): €750\nFull Fee (July 15th, 2026):   €900\nThe fee includes:\n\n12 lessons with all tutors: 4 with Birgid Steinberger, 4 with Ralf Heiber, 4 with Giuseppe Ravì.\nProfessional video recording of performance at the Final Concert of Participants.\nProfessional portrait photos.\nAccommodation for 5 nights (24.8. – 28.8.) in beautiful double rooms\nThree meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner / after-concert parties)\nFree entrance to all concerts during the Lied Academy\n\nLectures:\nBirgid Steinberger, Ralf Heiber, Giuseppe Ravì\n
